  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat chicken dry, then rub with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Arrange chicken in a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  3. While chicken bakes, melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add mushrooms and sauté until golden (5-7 minutes).
  4. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth, bring to a simmer, and cook until reduced by half (4-5 minutes).
  6. Reduce heat to low. Add heavy cream and Parmesan, stirring until sauce thickens (2-3 minutes).
  7. Spoon mushroom sauce over baked chicken breasts. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
